Hotel Lucca - Bruges

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city with easy access to many attractions. the breakfast selection was decent with a variety of options to choose from. the room was spacious and comfortable with clean towels provided daily.

The hotel's decor was very dated and in need of an update. the room had a strong smell of incense, which was overwhelming and uncomfortable.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in a fabulous location. The value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for a central hotel in such a picturesque city. The attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, from the warm welcome and helpfulness of the owners, to the clean and spacious rooms filled with character and charm. I particularly loved my room on the first floor, which had an amazingly comfy bed and a lovely view of the tower opposite. In the morning, the continental breakfast served in a beautiful vaulted ceiling room was a delightful start to the day.

All was perfect, nothing to improve.

The hotel was ideally situated, just a short stroll away from the bustling Markt square and the charming historic downtown. We found it convenient to explore the city on foot, with restaurants and attractions close by. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom featuring a luxurious waterfall shower in a big bath. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing a delicious breakfast in a beautifully preserved medieval-style room. the hotel also had good Wi-Fi and plenty of electric wall outlets.

One aspect that could have been better was the lack of USB chargers in the room.

The owners, Régine and Hans, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even left a lovely note and gift for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The attention to detail in the room was superb, with a chandelier, fireplace, and beautiful paintings on the wall. It truly felt like staying in a 19th century manor house. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the bustling market square. Despite being on the first floor overlooking a cobbled street, the room was surprisingly quiet. And let me not forget to mention the delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide variety of options including cereals, pastries, meats, cheeses. This hotel is definitely a hidden gem worth visiting.
